2026 Swim Team Practice Schedule
Swim Team practices are Monday - Friday
- 9:30-10:00am 6 & Younger -
Group 1 (this group needs LITTLE/NO assistance IN the water) - 10:15-10:45am 6 & Younger
Group 2 (this group needs assistance IN the water) - 9:30-10:15am Age Group 7 & 8
- 10:15-11:00am Age Group 9 & 10
- 11:00-11:45am Age Group 11 & Older
Swim Lessons - we will not offer swim lessons in 2026.

Swim Practice Cancellations
PHSC Practice Cancellation Policy (Weather)
- Coaches will determine if weather allows for practice or not.
- PHSC will ALWAYS have practice UNLESS weather is unsafe, i.e. thunder/lightning or heavy rain.
- Weather Temps need to be above 68͒ for us to open the pool; we will also consider the “feels-like” temperature when making decisions for practice. Even with a heated pool, air temps will affect the swimmers & divers.
- Communication will be sent via email and FB post ONLY when practice is CANCELLED, if you do NOT receive an email or see a FB post by 9am, PRACTICE IS ON!!
- Sometimes, we arrive at the pool and the weather is fine. On the occasion the weather pattern changes, we allow swimmers to hang our under the shelter until their ride arrives. These mornings can be fun for the swimmers, and usually end in FUN games and silliness with coaches and teammates - these are when memories from the swim team are made!!
