Please make note of our Volunteer Requirements for participation on our teams. ..we need LOTS of support at Swim & Dive Team events and meets.  Check out all the details on our VOLUNTEERS tab.

Swim & Dive meets will NOT be cancelled before 6:15PM. 

In the event lightning and/or thunder occur in the vicinity of the host pool, a 20-minute delay is required. The total amount of delays will not exceed one hour for any one meet. SSA reps and coaches and/or club representatives shall determine whether a meet should be cancelled or suspended. If weather or imminent circumstances deem it necessary to stop the meet, it is considered an officially completed dual meet after event #46 (or last individual medley event).

PHSC Swim Meets (optional but highly encouraged)

• Hosted on
  • Swim Team: Tuesdays & Thursdays (evenings)
  • Dive Team: Wednesdays (evenings)
• Swim Team has 6-7 meets, usually 3-4 HOME meets, only 3-4 AWAY meets
• Dive Team has 4 Dive meets and 1 Championship Meet
• Meets give EVERYONE a chance to measure successes & reach goals
• EVERYONE GETS A RIBBON!!
• Swimmers 6 and Younger ONLY SWIM HALF the length of the pool WITH a coach IN the water, but have option to race a full length when they are ready
• Only 6-8 swimmers race at one time, one per each lane
• PHSC Teammates CHEERING on the sidelines
• 6 & under events are usually over by 7:30 allowing for proper bedtime!
• SWIM MEETS ARE FUN!!

HOME Dive Meet Arrival Times:

• Swimmers ARRIVE 5:15pm
• Warm Ups (in the water) 5:30-6pm
• Dive Meet STARTS 6:30pm

AWAY Dive Meets Arrival Times:

• Swimmers ARRIVE 5:45pm
• Warm Ups (in the water) 6:00pm
• Dive Meet STARTS 6:30pm
